About me
Wil Kemp, MSW relocated to Colorado from New Mexico in 2004, bringing with him a diverse array of interests, including collecting soil samples, exploring various music genres, and car racing. His professional focus has always centered on working with people, though his journey into social work was not direct. Initially pursuing studies in computer science and cinematography, Wil eventually discovered his passion for human services after consulting with an advisor, which led him to earn a degree in Human Services from Metropolitan State University, followed by a master’s in social work. Motivated by a desire to address Denver’s homelessness crisis, Wil dedicated nine years to homeless services. He spent six years with Senior Support Services and three years with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. During this time, he worked with clients frequently requiring support from Colorado Legal Services (CLS). Currently, as a member of the Client Supportive Services team at CLS in Denver, Wil brings his extensive experience and expertise to the organization, striving to be an effective and valuable contributor to the team.
