About me
Megan Collop, MSW, LCSW (they/them) earned their Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver in 2015 and became independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2018. With a decade of experience working with the unhoused, Megan transitioned to civil legal aid in 2022, joining Colorado Legal Services to lead a team of social workers in providing holistic services for legal cases. Throughout their career, Megan has specialized in supporting clients with severe and persistent mental health challenges, including psychosis, major depression, suicidality, PTSD, and anxiety disorders. Their approach is humanistic and person-centered, focusing on empowering clients to utilize their strengths to stabilize their lives. In their personal time, Megan enjoys being with their dog Bernie, drinking coffee, and paddleboarding
