Gail Lorenz is a dedicated Administrator of Volunteer Services with over 30 years of experience in screening, training, and coordinating volunteers. Throughout her career, she has excelled at inspiring and motivating volunteers while efficiently managing volunteer activities. Gail has provided training at notable conferences, including the Colorado State Mental Health Conference and the Mental Health Association Conference. She served as the President and Board Member of Denver Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) and was the first recipient of the prestigious Denver DOVIA Marlene Wilson Award, recognizing her 10+ years of commitment to the profession. She is also the co-author of "Boomer Volunteer Engagement: Collaborate Today, Thrive Tomorrow." Gail has extensive experience working with Colorado Legal Services, where she promotes volunteer programs, conducts assessments, and develops training documents to streamline operations. Previously, she held leadership roles at SafeHouse Denver and worked as a Case Manager at Adams County Mental Health Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA).
