This interactive session will focus on language justice policies and practices at Colorado Legal Services. Topics covered will include: recent efforts to improve language access at CLS, the organization's language justice policy, legal requirements under Title VI, procedures for serving clients with language needs, and best practices for working with translators and interpreters. The session will include question and answer, scenarios, pop culture references, and quizzes.
